throttlebody to reg carb

You will likely need a fuel line pressure regulator because the FI pump likely puts out too much.

Lots of carb engines need a fuel return line to help stop vapor lock. Your FI engine might have one as well. It is important on some FI systems as the returning fuel goes to a cooling jacket on some pumps and fills up a baffle area so the pump still has fuel to pick up when the tank is low and you corner.

My Jeep for instance has a filter just before the carb with 2 outlets on it. The center one goes to the carb, the top one goes to the return line. It is important the return line is above the carb line to avoid gas siphoning back to the tank when it sits and to let air go back if the gas vaporizes from heat (vaporlock).

Mine has it's moments.... Normally mine runs in the center of the range. When I run her...

I think I would put the pressure regulator just before the filter. The carb should say what line pressure is needed.

Is your ignition system tied into the FI? You might need a stand alone distributor-spark system or it might already have it.

Just some thoughts for you...
