extacy 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 You never know with Jeeps, folks do put some strange engines in them. LOL! Someone else is asking about using a slant 6 even over on another group... It is very likely you have two problems now. THe first being a warped head for a couple of good overheats (aluminum head tend to warp when cooked and it is rare that they do not)and damaged head gasket. If this is the case, you need to mill the head flat when replacing head gasket. This likely all started because your raditor id clogged up, either internally or exteranlly (or both) limiting cooling. When you engine gets hot, it is time to stop and cool out before it hits the red and then find the cause and fix it as soon as possible when trip is completed. On tip, when your car starts to cook, roll down windows and turn on heater defroster full blast (yes it can get a bit warm in car) as this can sometimes keep things cool enough to get you where you are going. ----------------- www.thesnoman.com
